Bust: Around the fullest part of the chest, arms relaxed, tape parallel to the floor.

Waist: Around the natural waistline, just above the belly button.

Below-waist elastic: The gathered band that sits under the waist seam.

Hem sweep: The full circumference of the hem, laid flat and opened out — this is a very full A-line.

Length: From the highest shoulder point straight down to the hem.
